About Richard Alvarenga
I’m a Des Moines based photographer and visual artist with over 13 years of experience creating clean, emotionally driven imagery for brands, designers, and individuals. It’s been a roller coaster. My work blends simplicity with precision. I specialize in interiors, products, portraits, editorial and commercial content.
I’ve collaborated with brands like Pottery Barn and Better Homes and Gardens and other commercial studios. I also offer full video production services for creative campaigns, branding, and storytelling. Lately we’ve been shooting lots of hybrid work with photo and video primarily social media campaigns.
I work full-time at Off The Line Performance as a commercial photographer and video producer, but still take on select freelance projects especially large scale or creatively fulfilling work. Working at OTL has been a dream. I work within the automotive space day to day, whether on the racetrack, in the studio shooting products or around the shop filming videos, it never gets old!
My studio is located in the heart of downtown Des Moines at Mainframe Studios.
